Launching Fall 2025 across Calgary, this community-based series blends exhibitions, workshops, and pop-up art events to bring Chinese calligraphy into everyday Canadian life. Artists and volunteers are now being recruited for planning, creation, and outreach.

Dragon Soars Over the Nine Continents
Sharjah Calligraphy Museum, UAE | August 2024
This international exhibition was held at the Sharjah Calligraphy Museum to mark the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties between China and the UAE. Featuring works by Chinese calligraphers, the exhibition showcased the cultural dialogue between Chinese and Arabic calligraphy, drawing hundreds of visitors. Interactive workshops, collaborative artworks, and cultural performances enriched the cross-cultural atmosphere.
Ink Across Borders: Rochester Exhibition

Yu Jian Academy held its North American debut at the University of Rochester, presenting calligraphy works by emerging artists. The event introduced Chinese ink culture to university students, local educators, and multicultural communities, deepening artistic appreciation and cultural understanding.
