This work transcribes Autumn Evening in the Empty Mountain by Tang dynasty poet Wang Wei. Yu Zhiqian, courtesy name Fengsong, art name Lao Ji, is from Xinchang, Zhejiang Province. He is a member of the China Calligraphers Association, Executive Secretary of the Chinese Workers’ Painting and Calligraphy Academy, and Honorary Dean & Specially Appointed Mentor of the Weifuren Academy of Calligraphy. His work is known for its refined Seal Script style and deep classical grounding.
