This handcrafted calligraphy bookmark features lines from Gao Shi’s famous Tang dynasty poem Farewell to Dong Da:
“Endless layers of clouds stretch for ten thousand miles,
Boundless frosty winds sweep across a thousand leagues.”
The verse evokes the vast northern frontier, filled with grandeur and resilience. Handwritten in Lishu (Clerical Script) by artist Li Wei, with a cinnabar seal from Yujian Academy. The light blue background with a green tassel enhances the majestic imagery of the verse.
