Description(英文说明):
This handcrafted calligraphy bookmark features a passage from Su Shi’s renowned poem Calming the Storm (Ding Feng Bo):
“Why not hum and stroll through wind and rain?
With bamboo staff and straw sandals, lighter than a horse,
Who’s afraid?
Let life go on freely in mist and rain.”
The verses are handwritten in Xingshu (Running Script) by artist Li Wei, with a cinnabar seal from Yujian Academy. The red tassel complements the serene grey background, echoing the poet’s spirit of resilience and ease.
The reverse side is left blank, allowing customization with a laser-engraved message or a friend’s name transliterated into Chinese characters, making it a thoughtful and personalized gift.
