This scroll presents a cursive script rendition of Colophon and Postscript by Su Shi (Dongpo), one of the most celebrated literati of the Song Dynasty. Calligrapher Wang Xiangzheng uses spontaneous brushwork and dense rhythm to evoke the bold, carefree spirit of Su Shi’s original style. The work is laid out in long horizontal strips, echoing the classical album-leaf format on earthy paper that enhances its antique charm.
