This elegant work by Beijing-based calligrapher Luo Zhenping presents a cursive script transcription of Songxue Studio’s Yuan Dynasty commentary on the renowned poetic prose “Ode to the Goddess of the Luo River” by Cao Zhi of the Three Kingdoms period. The calligraphy features expressive brushwork, a layered composition, and subtle shifts in tempo. Two vertically-aligned panels on warm-toned paper are bordered by decorative scrollwork, creating a refined and classical impression.

Historical Note:
"Ode to the Goddess of the Luo River" (洛神赋) is a romantic allegorical rhapsody attributed to Cao Zhi, the gifted poet-prince of the Three Kingdoms era. The Yuan dynasty calligrapher Zhao Mengfu (松雪斋) added his famed commentary and inscription, reflecting the aesthetic lineage from Jin to Yuan.
