Excerpt Translation:
“What is Mount Tai?
Its green ridges stretch across Qi and Lu, endless in sight.
Creation’s spirit gathers its divine beauty,
Dividing light and shadow between dawn and dusk.
Clouds surge to stir the chest, birds return piercing the eyes.
One day I shall climb to its very summit,
And behold all mountains dwarfed beneath my gaze.”
