This hard-pen calligraphy work was created by Guan Ruipeng (Age 10, Beijing, China), a student of Jingya Moyuan, and was part of the Dragon Soars Over the Nine Continents — Sharjah Calligraphy Museum, UAE | August 2024 exhibition.
The work presents the poem “Sitting Alone at the Quiet Mountain Pavilion”, written in neat hard-pen regular script, reflecting the young artist’s early mastery of structure and rhythm in calligraphy.
This work has since been officially collected and is now on permanent display at the Happy Chinese School, Dubai, which also issued a certificate of friendly donation.
