Poem (Translation):
Amidst the winds and rains bidding farewell to spring,
Flying snow ushers in the new season's ting.
On a precipice where ice a hundred feet hangs,
A plum blossom still proudly its beauty flings.
Though lovely, it doesn't vie for spring's adoration,
Merely heralding the coming of the seasonal choration.
When mountains are abloom with flowers' gay profusion,
Smiling amidst them will be the plum in its blushing confusion.
