This hard-pen calligraphy work was created by Yu Haochen from Beijing, China. The piece presents the Tang dynasty poet Wang Han’s “Song of the Young Warriors” (少年行). Written in regular script (Kaishu), the calligraphy is neat and vigorous, reflecting the spirit of youthful heroism and chivalry conveyed in the poem. The verse portrays scenes of young men drinking fine wine, riding warhorses, and dreaming of heroic deeds under the setting sun.
